tumblr is actually a really good structure for social media with the way blogs and posts are formatted however unfortunately the entire site is run by monkeys who wouldnt be able to make a good executive decision if their mothers lives depended on it

heads up before you spend $$ on pillowfort, especially note the paypal thing. the io domain concern does not seem carefully enforced but is in the TOS so 🤷

I did a little digging earlier and managed to find out:

Pillowfort is run by one person

(not 100% sure on this, but all evidence points to there being no other employees besides the website “founder”)

As such, there is no office, or “staff”

The address the company is listed at doesn’t actually have an office there (and is, conveniently, home to some 2000 companies)

it has already had not one but two successful, completed crowdfunding campaigns

the fact that they already had a successful indiegogo campaign isn’t mentioned on their kickstarter page, by the way

has been in beta for 2+ years

Please don’t get scared by this, maybe it’s just my Tumblr app that is not working, but like I get notifications when you post something and I click on them but I can’t see them in your blog, but I CAN see them in my dashboard.
